Like most of us, you probably rush through your days, with barely any time to stop and enjoy them. There are 365 days in a year. How many do you use for real fulfilment, and how many are used in monotonous routine? Yes, we are given 365 but only one day matters. That is the day when you realize that if you were to die tomorrow, most of the things that you fuss over today would not be worth it. More importantly, you realize some other things too.
Like the need to make your time count. You spent so much time trying to be somewhere else—in another job, another relationship, another place. In pursuit to get to the greener grass, you were missing life. You realize that you have been sleepwalking through life. But now, you see things more clearly. Where you are now is what matters
Also, the urge to choose happiness now overwhelms you. You now believe that there is enough time, money, and energy for what is most important. Life happens and forever rushes forward. But the present moment is what you have and happiness starts right now by appreciating this moment and fully embracing it. An open heart replaces an insecure, selfish, closed heart.
As a result, you promise to love more deeply. You know that this is your opportunity to choose happiness and love. It will never come to you when you search for it out there. Loving human connections make a difference. There is power in a collective consciousness uniting together to support and love one another. The people you show up for, the energy spent serving and helping others, can make the grass green where you’re standing. You do not know how much time you have with our best friends and family, just that there is this chance, right now, to choose love.
Another great realization is that your time is valuable and refuse to waste it. Not in thoughts or deeds. Your ultimate goal is now to live and experience life to the fullest. Positively, without all the past attitudes and habits. No more unnecessary arguing, worrying or fussing over trivial things that do not count. You start picking your battles, carefully, only stopping to fight for what you believe in.
You move forward with power and liberty, living each day like you meant it because now you see, one day matters.
